After years of wanting to publish a blog, turns out we're making one for my computer class today! With only an hour of time dedicated to the project, this is what I've come up with. This will in fact
not be a place where you can be tested on your skills of either Old or New Testament, but rather, where you can see what I'm into at the moment. I've been studying up on some pretty dope movements in contemporary pop music that I've been wanting to compile into one place, so this gives me that. I've already taken a good half of the hour studying subject lines of emails sent to my family while I was in Mexico for title ideas, the best of which I believed to be:
The Adventures of Dudley
Dudley's Adventures
Dudley's Dailies
Toilet Currents
and Goon Culture, which I quite like and might favor instead of Bible Trivia later on.
Ok, so I've been wearing out a fine piece of action from a new group called
Yuck:
They're from the U.K. I felt kinda like I'm betraying nineties bands like Pavement and mid-era Yo La Tengo by liking them (they sound straight outta that era!), but then I read
this interview by vocalist Daniel Blumberg, where he raved on David Berman and the whole Drag City label (" I've never really listened to lyrics much aside from Silver Jews lyrics") and that's when I knew I had a friend in Londontown.

Right here i'm commenting on my own post as a class assignment.
